	Turning I have the power to turn off the television, I have the power to turn off the computer, I have the power to turn away from some people, I have the power to turn away anything I need to. [I have the power to stop smoking.] [I have the power to stop drinking.] [I have the power to stop doing drugs.] [I have the power to stop doing perverted things.] I have the power to turn towards that which bothers me, I have the power to know this thing, I have the power to name this thing, I have the power to teach this thing, I have the power to love and tame this thing. For these are false powers, Sirens in dark shadows, Tricksters disguised, They are now identified, loved and trained I have the power to turn to anything, I have the power to align with anything, I have the power to be anything So now I do turn, align and be with my highest power I call on God, my highest knowing Now I feel my higher power turning towards me, (I know you really never turn away) I tremble with spiritual fire and grace With meanings no words can convey. -George Norwood

Healing Human First Causes

Those who love in deepest way
Often are shy to speak of love
As speaking in mere words is not enough
and misses the way.

There was once a woman who I once knew very well
She loved a man from her youth
Yet she never spoke a word.
And if she happen to hear his name,
A soft smile developed on her usual somber face.

To plunge into human love
Is to be lost in siren's call
To be subjected to human frailties
and the hurts of hurts

So the woman kept away
Idealizing her man
Keeping her feelings close to her chest
Never telling a soul

If she only knew
Love is not a merger
But a creation
A third party indeed

Then she could express her love
Creating relationship
Yes creating without being absorbed

Here the woman's idealized love
Is lost in fantasy
And forever and now her secret
And so she avoids going to her love
And misses a different life, married and becoming mother

This idealized love, however, has a place
In fact idealized love is essential
It must be directed towards the Perfection
Towards the Upper Room

Upper Room love
Untangles our knots
Corrects aimlessness
The seed of all seeds

Give caution to the wind
Dive; swim; go all the way
Splash in the Room
Perfect trust
This Love heals human first causes
